ABOUT STEPHANIE GILL

I’m a Berlin-based product designer and UX writer with a background in education and art. As a designer, I’ve worked with cross-functional teams to create design systems, plan and execute research, and develop copy for mobile apps. My passion is finding ways to insert meaning and positivity into even the smallest of experiences, and I’m always asking “How can I do the most good, given my tools and limitations?” My professional journey has led me across creative fields, and I’m endlessly curious about the impact of design and beauty in daily life. In my near-decade of experience as an educator, I led children and teens to look deeper into everyday design and investigate the significance of art throughout various moments in history, from the Second World War to the Anthropocene. And as a writer, I crafted storytelling text for slow brands, co-edited the first print edition of The Lissome magazine, and interviewed change-makers with global visions, from artists and curators to writers and activists.
