Enthusiastic writer who has written multiple policy-focused articles for the National Postdoctoral Association Newsletter, The POSTDOCket. 8+ years conducting community outreach to increase the scientific knowledge of people from 8 to 80 with varying educational backgrounds. These outreach activities events resulted in stronger relationships between academic researchers and the community as well as a renewed passion for science among non-scientists. Organized and goal-oriented event planner that has coordinated numerous symposia, workshops, and formal events ranging from 50-150 attendees.
