I am responsible for maintaining an active facility health assessment, overseeing a multi-million dollar budget annually to allocate funds towards critical facility upgrades and enhancements. Additionally, I schedule and oversee all high voltage maintenance activities for systems exceeding 480 V on a yearly basis. I collaborate with Hydro One and IESO on various projects pertaining to our power system and utility connections. Furthermore, I manage internal projects utilizing allocated budgets, leveraging skilled trades, and optimizing workflow to ensure successful project completion. I communicate with stakeholders in each department and occasionally external contractors to facilitate efficient completion of work.I facilitate our participation in the IESO Global Adjustment program by managing 10 MW of power generation, resulting in a cost reduction of $3.5 million annually. I am partcipating in the integration of a battery energy storage and photovoltaic system into our microgrid, leading a 10-year cost savings project involving external stakeholders.
