My non-traditional career path from law, to nonprofit management, and now social work, provides me with a well-rounded knowledge base and dynamic skill set. Even though I have worked and volunteered in different kinds of organizations, one thing has always remained the same: my commitment to helping people. I\'m a solutions-focused, enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter who genuinely enjoys working with people to make a difference. 1. Endocrinology Social Worker

   Cleveland Clinic

   Oct 2023 — Present

   Provide excellent patient-centered, trauma-informed care to endocrinology patients, while contributing significantly to program innovation and professional growth. • In 2025, I responded to 688 referrals, helped over 50 patients access emergency insulin, secured over 100 Patient Assistance Program approvals for free medications, regularly facilitated a monthly Type 1 Diabetes Support Group, and successfully advocated for the creation of an Emergency Insulin Supply Fund with in departmental support. • Serve as the Principal Investigator for the Thr1ve Diabetes Program, a research-based initiative focused on improving outcomes for young adults (age 18-30) with type 1 diabetes. • Contribute to public discussion about diabetes and mental health through speaking engagements at multiple conferences within and outside of the Cleveland Clinic.
