About Stephanie Strong

Experienced producer with over 15 years writing, directing and producing non-fiction television, documentaries, and branded content. Passionate storyteller with a focus on social justice work. I have acted as a producer on award-winning films that have premiered in competition at Sundance and Tribeca Film Festivals, as well on many hours for TV. My shows have aired on PBS, Investigation Discovery, TLC, OWN, Discovery Health, Sundance Channel, VH1, MTV, The Weather Channel and National Geographic. I care deeply about stories and storytelling and love a collaborative environment. I enjoy every step of the process, from casting stories, preparing to go into the field, directing, writing and post and story producing. I have produced a variety of programming including documentary, reality, medical, science, profile, historical, true crime, docu-dramas, hosted, social issue and international stories, and I’ve worked in a range of roles including line producer, production manager, re-enactment director, shooter, sound and editor. I also have managed small production companies, creating budgets, grants, film festival submissions and distribution strategies. I drink a lot of coffee.
