   Performs a comprehensive assessment, plans, coordinates, and implements individualized recreation activities for 17 Skilled Nursing Facility patients from the acute care wing of the hospital. Documents patient treatment plans, participation in activities, and progress accurately and within established timelines. Collaborates on an interdisciplinary team involving unit Nurses, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Music Therapy to increase patient therapeutic mood valve, socialization, and involvement in sessions. Volunteer Supervisor to caring teens, college students, and Faithful Paws animal therapy. Member of the Volunteers Services Steering Committee which aids in streamlining the volunteer process for both volunteers and supervisors throughout the hospital. Supports the Center of Performing Arts Music with development of the Artist in Residence Program, bringing patients the opportunity to participate in environmental harp music weekly.
