Served as communications consultant for the for-profit and nonprofit arms of Release Recovery, a full-service substance use disorder and mental health organization, and for Founder and CEO Zac Clark, also a motivational speaker and influencer- Secured more than 20 earned media hits, including a feature on CBS News’ acclaimed “Note to Self” series, an article in Forbes Health, an appearance on the Lautners’ ultra-popular podcast \"The Squeeze,\" and coverage from every local broadcast station in Greenville, North Carolina for a speech at ECU - Worked to position Clark as a thought leader instead of a reality TV star, not only through earned media placements, but also via social content: concepted, scripted, and provided editing assistance for reels on Clark’s 470k-follower Instagram account focused on the most pressing and controversial issues in the world of addiction (i.e. fentanyl, NARCAN, and ketamine)- Crafted new messaging and led redesign of the for-profit and nonprofit’s websites – creating events, news, and fundraising pages; collaborating on art and formatting; and assisting with regular maintenance- Served as a thought partner for the foundation’s first-ever gala, assisted with marketing, PR, concepting and editing of the primary fundraising video, and scripting of the award recipients’ speeches
