Implemented and delivered evidence-based prevention and early intervention services to students, families, and educators through the New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S) program- Collaborated with local schools, community centers, libraries, and faith-based organizations to offer services before, during, and after school hours, as well as select evenings and weekends- Played a key role in delivering a wide range of services, including suicide prevention, mental health education, sexual health and pregnancy prevention, substance use prevention, bullying and violence prevention, and support for LGBTQIA+ students- Coordinated a 3-tiered approach to prevention and intervention: Tier 1: Delivered community-wide educational workshops, presentations, and training sessions to County residents, both virtually and in-person, fostering a broad understanding of mental health and wellness. Tier 2: Facilitated evidence-based group prevention services for middle and high school students, parents/caregivers, and educators, as well as professional development for school staff. Tier 3: Provided brief individual assessments and evidence-based therapy services to middle and high school students, addressing a range of mental health challenges and supporting student success- Collected and utilized input from a Community Advisory Board made up of local students to continuously improve and adapt service delivery to meet the evolving needs of the community- Ensured that all services aligned with the priorities of the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the overarching goal of ensuring early intervention and prevention while keeping the needs of students, parents/caregivers, and communities at the forefront.
