About Stephanie Chrispin

I am an advocate, strategist, and relationship manager who draws on my lived experience as a native New Yorker and daughter of immigrants in the fight for social justice. In my day job at Trinity Church Wall Street, I lead communications strategy and content development to support the church’s Social Justice programming and grantmaking. I also founded and currently lead the Trinity Black Professionals Network, the organization\'s first employee resource group. Outside of Trinity, I offer thought leadership and facilitate workshops on advancing racial justice in the social sector.I love connecting people to build power and bridge across difference—all while using critical analysis to shift how we think about racial equity and gender justice. I previously oversaw the Advocacy Institute\'s external communications and development strategy while also training funders on legislative advocacy. Before that, I served as the inaugural Public Policy Fellow at Philanthropy New York, where I developed multimedia content and programming for the philanthropic sector, all while managing multiple affinity groups and external partnerships for the organization. I\'m passionate about giving back, concentrating my volunteer time on the Filipino American community and black femme leadership. Using my strong communications and program evaluation skills, I\'ve supported the NYC Fund for Girls and Young Women of Color for several years as a member of their Participatory Review Committee. While on the board of the Filipino American National Historical Society - Metro New York chapter, I empowered my community by drawing connections between the historical and contemporary challenges faced by Fil-Ams. I built coalitions and increased civic engagement among Filipino Americans across the tri-state area in my prior role as President of UniPro NY. Now, I bring my community organizing powers to the Peloton community, serving as an admin for the Team Tunde group that spans 33.2k members across Facebook and Instagram.
