What: Reimagining healing and justice and transforming our cultural responses to sexual violence and intimate harm. How: A learning and healing conversation framework that centers survivor wisdom, cultivates community connection and drives policy change through community collaboration. Survivor informed, and led restorative conversations designed to repair harm and address the systemic injustices and inequities that exist in our criminal legal system and beyond. Why: We learn in community. We heal in the presence of others. HC is a growing collective of survivors designing innovative survivor-centered, informed and led restorative approaches and alternatives to the criminal legal system, both in theory and practice. In centering the wisdom of survivors, we redefine our collective approaches to healing and justice. In transforming our understanding of sexual harm, we work to prevent it. Change the conversation and transform the culture around sexual violence.
