Stephanie Brandt MD is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 40 years of experience in providing diagnosis and treatment for adults, adolescents, and children with various mental health complaints. She runs a private practice, where she offers psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis, tailored to the needs and goals of each client. She is also a respected forensic evaluator and expert witness in complex domestic and international litigation, specializing in child custody, domestic violence, PTSD, and psychiatric diagnosis. She has testified in multiple domestic custody cases as well as federal cases brought under the Hague Convention. As Ethics Chair at NYPSI she has extensive knowledge of the legal and ethical aspects of her field.
