ABOUT STEPHANIE BLACKBURN FREETH

Most executive teams measure performance carefully.Revenue. Execution. Strategy delivery. Market position. What is examined far less often is the leadership environment producing that performance.Trust between leaders.Candor in difficult conversations. How leadership pressure is distributed across the executive table.Whether disagreement sharpens decisions or gets buried and later recycles as friction.Over time, these dynamics shape leadership outcomes more than strategy.Performance is visible. Leadership health is what sustains it.Subtle leadership patterns at the executive team level shape the environment in ways no one initially intends. Feedback is withheld. Authority concentrates. Conversations become more cautious. Urgency fueled decision-making accelerates while reflection decreases.Left unexamined, these patterns reshape culture at the top of the organization. This is the terrain of my work.I serve as a strategic advisor to CEOs and executive teams, helping leadership groups examine the motivational architecture shaping how authority, trust, and decision-making function inside their culture.Using an Enneagram-informed diagnostic lens and the Executive Team Health Matrix™, I help leadership teams surface the hidden dynamics influencing communication, conflict, and leadership load distribution — particularly under pressure. The goal is not motivation or morale. It is intentional cultural architecture that allows trust and performance to strengthen together. For more than 25 years, I have worked at the intersection of leadership development, strategic growth, and organizational culture across industries including technology, manufacturing, higher education, non-profits, philanthropy, and civic leadership.Leaders typically engage this work at key inflection points:• Executive team transitions or restructuring• Rapid growth creating leadership strain• Strategic pivots requiring deeper alignment• Persistent friction that metrics alone cannot explain• Leadership teams performing well but seeking stronger candor and trustI hold an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. I am a certified 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership coach and an iEQ9 Integrative Enneagram Accredited Practitioner, and serve as adjunct faculty in Leadership Development at Sonoran University of Health Sciences.Healthy authority does not happen accidentally. It is architected. If you are leading at a level where culture compounds — for better or worse — we may have an interesting conversation.
