As Director of Public Relations & Community Relations for SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando, I lead strategic communications that elevate two of Central Florida’s most iconic brands. My work spans media relations, issues response, crisis communications, and storytelling that connects guests to the wonder of our parks and the mission behind them.I oversee the development and execution of annual and seasonal PR plans, working closely with marketing leadership to align messaging and maximize impact. From writing press releases and leading media events to serving as spokesperson and coordinating national story amplification with our Corporate Public Relations team, I’m deeply involved in shaping how our parks show up in the world.Day to day, I collaborate with media and internal leadership to provide accurate, timely information that protects and enhances brand reputation. I also support social and influencer strategies tied to reputation and rescue storytelling, manage a talented PR team, and act as the first point of contact for park-level communications.Whether it’s announcing thrilling new attractions, responding to real-time media inquiries, or sharing powerful rescue stories, I’m passionate about building narratives that inspire, inform, and engage.
