About Chiamaka Stephanie Azodo
I am a Data Analyst with 5 years of experience conducting customer research for B2B companies. I specialize in data analytics and survey research methodology. In my current role, I collaborate with stakeholders across product, services, support, and business enablement teams to develop survey instruments with relevant questions that bring critical customer insights into focus. I also utilize tools such as SQL, R, Looker, and dbt to query large customer databases, build data assets, create dashboards, and analyze product usage data to uncover insights and create a compelling and comprehensive story of the customer experience that is used by C-Suite executives and product teams to make prioritization and development decisions. I am fascinated by how data and statistical methods can be used to understand people and psychological processes. This fascination propelled me to obtain a degree in Quantitative Methodology from Columbia University while simultaneously working full-time in my current role. I was not only able to deepen my understanding of advanced statistical methodologies including regression, factor analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning but also how to apply these methods to understand and study psychological and social concepts. I was able to directly apply these learnings to my role enabling me to further improve analytics efficiency, and develop and employ novel approaches to evaluate and understand customer needs.
