Professional Highlights: 1. SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS: I regularly lead presentations on the updates to employment laws in Ontario and the effect on workplaces, including for the following organizations- Human Resources Professionals Association, Toronto Chapter - Oshawa Chamber of Commerce - Ajax Pickering Board of Trade - Whitby Chamber of Commerce - Scugog Chamber of Commerce - Clarington Board of Trade - Durham Region Home Builders Association - Oshawa Mayor’s Economic Task Force 2. ADVOCACY: I acted as defence co-counsel in the matter of Taylor v Hanley Hospitality Inc.(o/a Tim Hortons), a timely case in determining the interpretation and impact of employment regulations during COVID-19 and ranked in the top five cases of importance to Employment Law in Ontario, 2021. WRITING CONTRIBUTIONS: I wrote a chapter on employment laws for immigrants to Canada in the e-book \"Moving to Canada: 2021’s Guide to Life in Canada\" by Calver and Associates. CREATIVE: I continue to tap into my creative side by teaching and choreographing dance for children in the community.
