ABOUT STEPHANIE ZEIBER
As the Director of Advanced Practice Provider Development, I support primary care, urgent care, and outpatient medical specialties with a fervent passion for promoting the role of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within our organization and the broader community. Recognizing that APPs are projected to significantly increase their footprint in the healthcare workforce over the next decade, I have focused on fostering the growth and development of Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). This has been achieved through the development of comprehensive onboarding programs, mentorship opportunities, preceptor partnerships, and providing avenues for further education and leadership development.I am deeply committed to developing an APP leadership infrastructure, establishing fellowships, and fostering inclusivity and top-of-scope practice for our APPs. With over five years of experience leading value-based care programs, I have honed my skills in accurate coding and documentation behaviors, reducing wasteful spending, home-based primary care, and quality improvement. My strong data analytical skills drive initiatives focused on achieving top outcomes, demonstrating the paramount role APPs play in success within a value-based care marketplace by delivering top-tier care to our community.As a practicing primary care provider for over a decade, I have built unique bonds and strong rapport with the many patients and families I have had the pleasure to serve. I have a keen interest in preventative health, patient advocacy, and self-management, and I thrive on collaborating with others to help them achieve their health goals.As a lifelong learner with an eagerness to continue my own self-improvement and career progression, I am starting my journey in obtaining the Doctor of Medical Sciences from EVMS.
