ABOUT STEPHANIE WOLFE
I am a committed scholar and leader in the fields of human rights, international politics, and global justice. As a professor of Political Science and International Studies at Weber State University, I teach and design courses on genocide, human rights, gender and global politics, and international law.In addition to teaching, I coordinate the International Studies program and advise several student initiatives, including the Model United Nations team and Human Rights Club. I regularly organize campus-wide events and commemorations focused on genocide awareness, refugee rights, and global justice.I currently serve on the Executive Board of the International Association of Genocide Scholars and on the Board of Directors for Model United Nations Far West. I also hold a research affiliation with the University of Pretoria in the Department of Ancient and Modern Languages and Cultures. My research explores human rights, atrocity prevention, and the politics of memory. I’ve published widely on genocide, transitional justice, and memorialization, and have received multiple awards for both scholarship and teaching.I’m passionate about advancing interdisciplinary collaboration and practical engagement—whether through academic leadership, policy work, or organizational development. I welcome opportunities to connect, contribute, and collaborate across sectors.
