Stephanie uses techniques learned from Olympic swim team coaches and various mentors including a Navy Seal Team Member to devise a learn-to-swim program based on years of experience not only teaching, but volunteering as a judge for High School and USA Swimming events on the East Coast. I have worked with Olympic coaches and observed Olympic coaches (Eddie Reese - UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS, AUSTIN). I have also observed FISH Swim team coach Ray Benecki with Kate Ziegler (Kate Ziegler - World Champion 1500 meter freestyle). I planned with Mutual of Omaha Insurance (USA Swimming Sponsor) and USA Swimming to execute a Swim Clinic with Olympic Gold Medal winner Misty Hyman at Signal Knob Pool in Strasburg, VA and attended a Backstroke Clinic with Aaron Peirsol, winner of 29 gold, six silver, and one bronze Olympic medals at the Winchester City Pool. I started and coached a USA Swim Team in Strasburg, VA and have taught at pools all over the tri-county area in northwest Virginia. I love swimming and try to instill in all of my students a love of water, swimming, and the physical benefits of swimming all four competitive swim strokes.
