Lead design and product development for a key account, maintaining customer handwriting and commercial profile- Oversee the end-to-end design process from research, mood boards, and fabric sourcing to final sample approvals and production handovers- Create comprehensive design pages/tech packs for factories including details of construction, fabric comps, colour, and print/artwork scaling- Create trend-led, brand-appropriate CAD packs, balancing creativity with strong commercial appeal- Collaborate closely with garment tech team and overseas factories to facilitate a seamless sampling process, effective communication and adherence to deadlines- Conduct extensive trend and market research to identify emerging fashion directions, colours, and graphics aligned with relevant collections- Collaborate with range planning, ensuring cohesion across trends, fabrics, and trims and considering variety of products to maximise buying potential- Present design ideas to internal team members, as well as share CAD packs and maintain good relationships with external buyers- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to best support fabric sourcing, fit consistency, quality and efficiency- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to distribute tasks, delegating during busy periods- Partner with the graphics and technical design teams to ensure accurate execution of prints, embellishments, and fit standards- Design a broad spectrum of original graphics, placement prints, and AOPs- Work autonomously, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment- Maintaining an excellent understanding of both UK and USA fashion markets.
