About Stephanie Shoo

I’m a Product Manager with over five years of experience driving growth, activation, and monetization across both Big Tech and early-stage startups. Most recently at Microsoft, I led product-led monetization and activation initiatives for Teams Consumer, our freemium product. I’ve run more experiments than any other PM in the org, leveraging data, research, and rapid iteration to shape strategy, validate hypotheses, and scale impact. Across my career, I’ve developed a deep love for data - not just for dashboards, but for uncovering user intent, prioritizing what matters, and driving revenue through high-conviction insights. Before Microsoft, I worked in early-stage environments, including a YC-backed Series A fintech startup and a wellness app I co-founded in college. These experiences taught me to move fast with limited resources, build from zero-to-one, and operate with a strong bias for action. Outside of work, I’m an adventure seeker who loves trying things at least once — from a five-day moped trip through Northern Thailand to a five-day backcountry trek across the Wyoming wilderness.
