About Stephanie Sherwood
Corporate Small Business/Supplier Diversity Program Manager & Small Business Liaison Officer for Weston Solutions, Inc, with 35 years of contracting and SB-socioeconomic program experience. Stephanie began her federal procurement career as a Buyer & Subcontract Administrator for Westinghouse ID Nuclear Co and Lockheed Martin at the US Department of Energy\'s Idaho National Laboratory. She continued her career in Honolulu, HI developing contracts/procurement and vendor management procedures for American Savings Bank, while she oversaw the bank’s Vendor Management Program and ensured compliance with US Department of Treasury-OTS requirements. Stephanie began employment with Weston Solutions as a Subcontract Manager in Honolulu, HI, supporting contracts for its Pacific Division, South Korea, and Japan. Since 2007, Stephanie has managed Weston’s SB/Supplier Diversity Program, which annually encompasses approximately $500M in federal contracts for the Dept of Defense and civilian agencies, in addition to State /Local Government, Municipal and Commercial Clients. Stephanie directs the corporate initiatives regarding all subcontracting, teaming and utilization of small business concerns, while championing Weston\'s four SBA Mentor-Protege Programs. Her role at Weston is two-fold: 1) to assist Program Managers, Subcontract Managers and Contracts & Procurement leadership with legislative updates, market research, strategic sourcing, and teaming agreements with qualified, diverse SBs to promote and ensure attainment of SB subcontracting commitments, and 2) to serve the SB Community through outreach and networking, opportunity assessments, one-on-one counseling, and mentoring assistance. Stephanie is a member of NCMA since 1991, the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, SAME Philadelphia Post’s SB Committee, the DoD MidAtlantic Regional Council for SB Advocacy Board of Direction and has served on the Chester County Workforce Development Board since 2011. When not working with Small Businesses, Stephanie can be found raising and training her Hungarian Vizslas.
