Reporting directly to the Senior manager, I am an integral part of the Customs team. Working in close collaboration with all ALDO supporting departments, as a main liaison in delivering and implementing customs operational initiatives and ensuring the seamless rollout of cross-functional processes.• Provides support, coaching and training to the team based on various operational SOP’s. • Responsible to communicate and outline procedures of any new operational processes and share them with the relevant teams.• Monitors broker performance using the Broker performance KPI and addresses any the issues with the broker and establishes a corrective action.• Responsible to verify the accurate calculation and payment of the duties and taxes in North America.• Provide key operational and customs related metrics to the corresponding teams in charge of forecasting.• Responsible to renew the yearly government program licenses to ensure the compliance of The Aldo Group Inc operations.
