Completes psychosocial assessments with indicated patients based on self-referrals or referrals from clinic staff (MDs, MAs, Genetic Counselors, RNs, Sonographers)-Completes supportive assessments to identify psychosocial risk factors and strengths in families who are experiencing prenatal diagnosis of fetal anomalies-Completes psychosocial assessments with women in Maternal Recovery Program (MRP) who are seeking Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as buprenorphine/buprenorphine-naloxone to treat Opioid Use Disorder-Serves as IU Health liaison in case of adoptions, surrogate pregnancies, guardianship arrangements-Assesses for and offers support regarding sensitive topics related to intimate partner violence/domestic violence and substance use-Maintains awareness of Indiana mandated reporting laws surrounding child and adult protection-Engages patients in resource development to create access to care and access to necessary tangible and emotional supports to be successful while caring for a sick child or preparing to give birth-Completes suicide assessments with women who voice SI/HI or who answer affirmatively to EPDS screening question about thoughts of self harm-Assesses for financial needs and acts as a steward of Riley Children\'s Foundation philanthropic dollars-Engages in end-of-life planning and support with families-Provides crisis intervention and evaluations of those experiencing mental health crises and then makes referrals to appropriate supports/levels of care
