About Stephanie Pettit
I have \"lived and breathed\" hospitality for nearly 45 years.from my first job at 14 as a \"candy-striper\" feeding the elderly at The Villa Nursing Home, to cooking at Mrs. London\'s, Garcia\'s, Victoria Station, The American Cafe and The Marketplace Catering to serving at Justin\'s (where I met my husband) and Maria\'s Cafe to creating our catering division, planning a vast number of corporate events and boutique weddings for Old Daley Custom Catering and Saratoga Polo, collaborating in the design and opening of 3 restaurants (Daley\'s on Yates, Daley\'s on Crooked Lake and The Delaware), working to create our brand guidelines and mission to finally leading our department managers as Co CEO/CFO of Daley Hospitality Group. I share this position with my husband Jim Pettit, as partner and co-CEO/CFO, with whom I have worked side by side, yes, together almost everyday and all day for over 30 years. I am a diligent worker with a keen eye for design, a passion for fresh food, and an interest in health and wellness. I am always working on trying to find the balance between fiscal conservatism in business with social and emotional generosity. I live in Troy and share my home with my husband Jim and 4 \"sheep-a-doodles\". Together we have been lucky enough to find that work-life balance we all long for. We work from home, meet with staff, enjoy our home, enjoy our kids and travel when we can. It\'s a good life and unusual for hospitality owners. We feel very fortunate and do not take it for granted.
