About Stephanie Perrone

I am a senior English major with a concentration in professional writing and a minor in marketing. I am passionate about every aspect of storytelling, from a book idea to its publication. I believe in the power of storytelling to change lives and touch hearts. It isn\'t about the content of a manuscript, but the potential within it. When I\'m editing anyone\'s work, whether its a published writer or a friend, I am an advocate for protecting the author\'s voice. Everyone has a unique voice and writing style that should be maintained throughout the work. I emphasize the idea that every author should be provided a safe space to share their ideas which is why I started my membership with Beyond Thought Creative Arts Journal and am excited to be it’s Senior Editor. I am also grateful for my internships with Moondust Publications and ASCENDtials which allowed me the honor to help publish quality work. In a society where stories are challenged, it is important to me to support easy access to diverse books. I know the power that books had over me and there are specific authors who I owe my life to. After being saved by stories\' influence, I want to be a part of the industry that distributes those stories. Whether it\'s as a developmental editor who strengthens the overall message and plot of the story or as a marketer who spreads the word about a new book and is the reason why the right book falls into the right hands at the right time.
