I am a finance and accounting leader with extensive expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and accounting operations. I currently oversee all aspects of accounting for both U.S. and Canadian operations, leading month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency across the organization.My role encompasses full ownership of the balance sheet and P&L. I ensure all balances are supported and reconciled, and that revenue, cost of sales, and SG & A are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP. I believe strong financial stewardship is foundational to sound business strategy, and I approach every close with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.In addition to technical accounting oversight, I lead and develop a team responsible for budgeting, fixed and leased assets, and operational reporting, including warehouse and freight spend. We work closely with Senior Leaders to provide visibility into cost drivers, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making. Building strong, accountable teams and creating scalable financial processes is a core part of my leadership philosophy.I have extensive audit experience, supporting internal and external audits, bank audits, and tax audits including sales and use tax and state income tax. Through these engagements, I’ve strengthened internal controls, improved documentation standards, and partnered closely with auditors to ensure timely and successful outcomes.My career has included significant corporate milestones. I participated in the company’s IPO and continue to support the accounting and compliance requirements associated with operating in a publicly traded business unit. Additionally, I played a key role in the acquisition and integration of the SKIL and SKILSAW power tool businesses, supporting the accounting integration of new business models and ensuring alignment with company reporting standards.Beyond compliance and reporting, I am passionate about process improvement and operational efficiency.
