ABOUT STEPHANIE PARISH

I am a STEP qualified Partner and have the privilege of managing Clarion\'s award winning Private Wealth team. I have worked at Clarion for 17 years. I assist clients regionally and nationally with the following:1) Estate and Trust Administration - assisting executors/administrators in the administration of a deceased person\'s estate. 2) Lifetime Planning - Wills, Powers of Attorney, creation of Trusts and Inheritance tax planning. 3) Trust Administration - assisting trustees to manage Trusts. Estate AdministrationEstates which I assist with are typically high value and/or where the deceased had business assets, foreign assets or complex Will provisions, and family arrangements. I regularly advise on post-death planning via Variations often for inheritance tax efficiency. I act as a sounding board for other non-legal professionals who administer Estate\'s for their own clients and require parallel legal advice. Lifetime PlanningI act for a diverse range of clients in relation to lifetime planning. Typically clients will be high net worth, business owners or be part of a blended family. They will have concerns over how to manage their inheritance tax liability, how to deal with the succession of their business or how to balance competing wishes or second marriages/relationships. For business owners, I aim to work closely with their incumbent advisers as well as my colleagues in our Corporate team. Trust Administration I advise Trustees in respect of the ongoing management of Trusts, whether they be created via a lifetime settlement or following an Estate. I pride myself on being able to communicate sensitively and openly. I strive to ensure that clients can discuss their affairs freely and honestly in ‘plain English’.
