   I am currently serving my fourth elected term as Councilwoman and have been elected Council President by my colleagues. Elected as a Democrat in November, 2014, I began my public service on January 1, 2015. I was recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Municipal Government by the NJ League of Municipalities in 2018. I have served as the Council President (2018 & 2019), Borough Fire Commisoner (2019 & 2020), Council Liaison to Recreation (2021),Council Liaison for Finance and and Second Liason for Buildings & Grounds (2017). Previously, I served as First Liaison to Buildings and Grounds and Second Liaison to the Department of Public Works (2015,2016). I also serve as a Committee Liaison Access for All Rutherford 2017 (prior appointed committee member 20••••16), the Citizen Finance Committee 2017, and the Local Assistance Board 2017. Previously I have served as the committee liaison to the Board of Adjusters, the Rutherford Civil Rights Committee, Neried Boat Club, Passaic River Coalition and Technology Committee. In March of 2015, I introduced a county-wide initiative titled Access For All which was adopted by resolution with the full support of the Mayor and Council. Access for All- Rutherford champions the inclusion and advocacy for the differently-abled citizens of Rutherford and also supports our Borough\'s Stigma-Free initiative. I have been appointed by the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders to serve as a member of the Bergen County Advisory Board for Disability Services (2015-Present). An advocate for transparency and equity, I welcome ideas that provide opportunity for the Borough, and equally welcome challenges presented by residents that need our attention.
