ABOUT STEPHANIE LEEDER

Stephanie is a valued member of Geldards\' specialist Construction Law team with over 13 years\' experience in the sector, both in house and now in private practice.Prior to her transition to private practice in 2018 Stephanie spent 6 years in house with a large and well known contractor in the East Midlands providing key advice on some of the region\'s most prominent developments. Stephanie has had exposure to and advised on a diverse range of industry standard and bespoke construction contracts including projects ranging from domestic developments, affordable housing, to large scale commercial developments. Stephanie\'s in house experience couples a wealth of practical knowledge and commercial sensitivity with her considerable awareness and understanding of the legalities pertinent to the industry. During her time in private practice Stephanie has provided construction advice to the Real Estate team on the transformation of Langley Holdings Estate to a multi million pound covid hub. She has also notably provided corporate support and assisted in the development of a 5* hotel in the North West of England, providing contractual advice to the development team throughout. Stephanie provides tailored advice to all levels of the construction sector including advising funders, developers, consultants, contractors and sub-contractors. As well as providing non-contentious contractual support, Stephanie is well versed in construction disputes. She advises on a wide variety of construction disputes, managing claims from pre-action through to trial. Stephanie has practical experience of a variety of Alternative Dispute Resolution processes including mediation and adjudication.Stephanie was also an associate lecturer at Lincoln University in 2018 and taught construction law to masters students studying Construction Management.
