Wrote, research based curriculum, What is Power & Community? for school districts Secured over for start up funding Trained 203 educators on curriculum and provided in class support for 7 school districts Organized school based arts programs to develop youth writers Engaged film professionals to create youth apprentice media arts program Executive Produced, 3 social impact films awarded at Film Festivals Art of Me is a non-profit organization that serves under-represented high school students throughout Cleveland and NYC. We work collaboratively with students as they explore the art of storytelling and filmmaking. Annually, we host a “What is Power & Community?” story to film contest in which the winning story is made into a film. To date, we produced 4 youth films that are aligned with our “What is Power & Community?” curriculum that is used in schools and community centers.
