Started as logistics manager and got promoted as supply chain manager in September 2019.• Overseeing planning process of goods in & out to deliver an annual turnaround of tons of roasted coffee• Managing day-to-day operations of the warehouse and logistical operation at the Roastery, always looking for way of improving team efficiency and adaptability to markets and economy conjunctures• Stock managing at any one time of £3M green coffee, £500K packaging and £6M finished goods• Ensuring healthy stock level and reconciling with inventory/sale forecasts on regular basis• Enabling production to have full visibility in order to meet short/medium/long term business demands • Heading a team of 2 supply chain planners, 1 warehouse team leader and 4 warehouse operators• Cooperating with Procurement team for contract tender, supplier compliancy and potential cost reduction• Reporting KPIs, operation turnaround and stock holding on weekly and monthly basis to Roastery and Costa leadership team• Managing warehouse layout and goods traffic flow so as to maximise storage, reduce stock movement and reduce waste• Responsible for all aspects of health & safety in relation to warehouse set-up & equipment, ensuring team are fully trained and compliant in operating procedures and H&S Law• Liaising with the NPD project teams to ensure all materials for new product solutions are sourced and provided to meet the requirements of all new launch initiatives• Working closely with suppliers and internal production team to manage various cross functional projects on NPD and sustainability.
