With over 30 years of experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry, I’ve built my career by combining international exposure with hands-on expertise. My journey began as a Research Analyst for Voice of America in Amman, Jordan, where I developed a deep appreciation for cross-cultural communication—an experience that led me to transition into marketing, blending analytical skills with creative strategies that continue to shape my approach to challenges.After returning to the U.S. for graduate school, I joined Orascom, a construction contractor in the DC area, focusing on USAID and U.S. government-funded projects in Egypt. Managing procurement processes and conducting research provided valuable insights into business development, government contracting, and international development - knowledge that has been instrumental in my marketing career.I later joined Jacobs Engineering Group in Washington, D.C, where I further developed my skills in proposal writing, collateral creation, and presentation strategies, while establishing a strong foundation in business development. These skills were key as I moved into roles with a geotechnical and environmental services firm, a PM/CM firm, and eventually, as part of the marketing team at AEI.My international upbringing, which has taken me across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, coupled with my experiences as part of a diplomatic family, has taught me to adapt quickly and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. These experiences continue to influence how I approach both business and life.In 2022, I transitioned from AEI’s San Francisco office to AEI\'s Metro DC office, where I specialized in federal market pursuits. As Regional Facilitator for the eastern region, I support both federal and non-federal initiatives, ensuring AEI’s strategic growth across all sectors.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids and exploring the DC area, always eager to learn from new experiences—whether personal or professional.

   I lead strategic marketing and proposal efforts for AEI’s Metro DC office, managing the development of qualifications, proposals, and client-focused materials in support of new business pursuits. I collaborate closely with technical teams and firm leadership to position AEI effectively in competitive markets.In my role as Regional Facilitator for the Eastern Region, I support cross-office collaboration and help implement consistent marketing processes, tools, and best practices. I also serve as a resource and connector across teams, contributing to firmwide initiatives that strengthen AEI’s marketing operations and regional alignment.
