Owner of historic and recently renovated 16-room hotel in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. I managed a 2.5 yrs renovation including our team of two General Contractors, numerous sub-contractors, and our CA-based design team. Renovations consisted of interior updates to all 16 guest rooms, the addition of a guest lounge and library, pool deck, and a 17th guest room…while hotel was operational and open to guests. I also managed the renovation budget, timeline, procurement of materials and finishings, the reselection process, and communication between all team members.From time to time, I enjoy putting my hard-earned sommelier skills to use selecting wines for our guests to sip by the pool in the summer and next to the fire in the winter, and I love pairing wines with our seasonal chef-led dinners.
