ABOUT STEPHANIE HANSON
Engineers make things. Industrial Engineers make things better. As a kid, the youngest of three growing up in a tiny two-bedroom house, I was intrigued with finding efficiency. Whether I was rearranging my toys on display or helping my parents reconfigure the kitchen pantry to maximize space, I faced every challenge as an opportunity to continuously improve. And then something cool happened. The summer before entering high school, I was invited to attend a STEM program for urban youth. And just like that, I discovered a wide array of process optimization possibilities achievable through math and science. To this day, I naturally look for opportunities to be efficient. At home, I organize the canned goods in my pantry using the first in first out (FIFO) method to eliminate waste and avoid food expiration. I also have a passion for helping others and working alongside a team with a shared vision. Business Program Management calls to my passions; it incorporates creativity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
