About Stephanie Gilman
I am an experienced educator and program manager who recently went back to school to complete a master\'s degree in biology and conservation. I have taught college level humanities courses for incarcerated students, mediation and conflict resolution to high school students, and arts in education curriculum to K-12 students. I am passionate about economic and social justice, access to urban green spaces and am an avid proponent of workforce development in the green jobs sector. I emphatically believe all New Yorkers deserve to live in sustainable and healthy communities. I am excited to apply my strong background in education, curriculum development and program management as I continue my transition into the fields of environmental education, community conservation and green workforce development.
