Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) is owned and operated by Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) and is located south of Brownville, Nebraska. Built in 1974, CNS operates as the largest, single-unit electrical generator in the state, generating approximately 835 megawatts of electricity. This would be enough power to supply more than residential customers during the hottest summer. CNS provides Nebraskans with safe, clean, and reliable electricity.As Nuclear Communications Specialist, my objective is to facilitate organizational alignment through effective communications in partnership with site, District, fleet, and industry leadership. I am passionate about the development and execution of communications and community relations strategic plans for CNS.
