As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, I handle a diverse range of HR responsibilities, primarily focusing on recruitment while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. This includes devising and implementing effective sourcing and recruitment strategies, collaborating with hiring managers to discuss position requirements and timelines, and overseeing recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt positions. Additionally, I manage relationships with recruiting vendors, conduct salary and exempt status analyses, and provide recommendations on appropriate salary ranges. I also review resumes, conduct interviews, assess candidate suitability for employment, coordinate reference and background checks, and determine offer wages for selected candidates. Furthermore, I am actively involved in onboarding new hires and maintaining up-to-date job descriptions, contributing to emergency procedures development, establishing salary bands, updating HRIS with salary ranges, and cultivating a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with company policies. Additionally, I support the development, interpretation, and implementation of personnel policies, stay informed about HR trends and legislative changes, and contribute to various projects as needed.
