are a mission driven: our solutions serve public interest and support systems change. The value of our work is to serve as “translators” and bridge-builders to convey information with intention in ways that are meaningful to people. Dynamic and award-winning visual design, content design, and engagement design centers community, builds community kuleana, seeds equity infrastructure and activates stewardship. Some projects of note: — \"Energize Kākou\" for the Hawai‘i State Energy Office, 2021 – 2022. A community engagement and outreach project that centers Native Hawaiian ways of knowing as an act of equity and strategic approach to connect successfully with communities. — HiRUC (Hawaii Road Usage Charge) for Hawai‘i Dept of Transportation, 2018 – current. An effort to explore new and innovative ways to pay for our roads through gathering feedback and participation from community stakeholders and community residents. The HiRUC bill recently passed the 2023 Hawai‘i State Legislature with broad support, and the HiRUC project begins a new phase of implementation. — HART Sustainable Mobility Lab for HART (Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation), 2018 – 2021. The program brought value to the organization through activating transportation and sustainability through seeding learning experiences with community to deepen connections with each other, our places, and our transportation. — \"Forests for Life\" for the Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DoFAW), 2017 – 2019. A project to package and create a marketing strategy for DOFAW’s new forest products to develop sustainable income for the agency— \"Trees in our Community\" for Kaulunani Urban and Community Forestry, DofAW, 2018 – 2019. Over a period of four years, Honolulu lost trees. This project created a community engagement plan for the urban forestry community asking “How can we most effectively engage the community to reduce the upward trend in tree loss in Honolulu?”
