About Stephanie Carman
I provide strategic advice on regulatory issues, transactions, investigations and litigation. I represent corporate, governmental, academic and individual clients in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. I work with clients on internal investigations and responding to governmental requests for information. I also advise health industry clients on the defense of False Claims Act litigation and on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters. I have extensive experience working with regulators and clients, including hospitals, academic medical centers, hospices and home health agencies, on federal, state, and local licensure, accreditation and payor filings in connection with corporate transactions. I am active on community and alumni boards including the boards of Legal Services of Greater Miami, the University of Miami School of Law and Tufts University Alumni Council. I was honored to serve as President of the Dade County Bar Association.
