Responsibilities included acting as main point of contact for Ada as well as interns, identifying intern managers, organizing and running events, onboarding new interns, conducting mid-program check ins and supporting hiring meetings. • Development and execution of recruiting strategies for Amazon’s participation in multiple diversity conferences. This includes managing pre and post sourcing process by identifying and organizing participating recruiters to develop a seamless and effective sourcing strategy. Ownership of coordination of attendee and recruiter booth schedules, hotel blocks, shipping and receiving of swag items and booth collateral. • Event development and organization including intake meeting with hosting team to set goals and develop event strategy. Conduct research of available venues taking location, cost, catering, layout and included services into consideration. Partner with the recruiting team to develop a candidate communication plan and overall recruiting strategy for each event. Select and manage internal speakers and partner to develop content and event agenda. Identify, organize and manage volunteers, vendors and speakers during the event.
