ABOUT STEPHANIE A. ZARRELLA STONE

I measure my career in service, not titles. For 20 years in the Navy, I worked in health care, training, recruitment, and public affairs. High-pressure environments taught me two key lessons: to stay calm in the storm and to move quickly toward what matters. When I left the military, I didn’t leave service behind. I shifted my focus, becoming a Coro Fellow in Los Angeles, and then led programs as Director and VP. My role was clear: guide people through transition and keep momentum alive.I later joined Congresswoman Barragán’s team, where I focused on listening deeply, building trust, and fighting for solutions that serve real people. That chapter reinforced my conviction that progress requires persistence, strong relationships, and the courage to bridge divides. If you’re looking for a box-checker, that’s not me. I lead where things are uncertain, messy, and high-stakes, because that’s where momentum is born. Now, I’m looking toward my next chapter: opportunities to build bridges, lead teams through transition, and drive impact at the intersection of service and strategy.
