Responsible for Mold Manufacturing, Mold Engineering and Tool Room Departments WW• Director responsible on site at the mold factory in Melbourne, Australia, from 2016 to 2020;• Currently Head of the WW Engineering, based in Switzerland, with direct responsibility on Mold construction, Budget and Project Management;• Providing technical guidance, analysis and recommendations to executive leadership as need to drive technical solutions• Conducting audits at a global level to ensure procedures, safety and good molding practices in the production area;• Coordinating strategies with Global Supply Chain on mold maker capability, selection, development and Mktg needs• Project reviews and tool refinement during concept phase, reviews proposals and cost estimates, evaluates progress of projects, and recommends procedural changes.• Provide technical guidance to the WW Mold Engineering team based in Melbourne Australia, facilitating product strategy and setting engineering directions for the development of new mold with improvement of current designs.• Work with technical personnel to launch strategy, process flows, mold and hot runners’ standards. • Mentor engineers to proactively identify risks in the product geometry, molds, and methods associated with manufacturing and design quality.• Supports internal customers with cross functional partnerships to identify needs and maintain current designs with quality, cost, manufacturability, and regulatory improvements.• Assists and coordinates with Manufacturing for development of processes, tooling and molds necessary to produce new products.• Work with Tool Rooms and Mold Engineering to maintain tool condition for the life of tooling and to resolve issues providing support for investigation and resolution.• Track progress on tooling repairs and modifications integrating Engineering, Production, Tool Rooms, and External Suppliers to expedite in a timely and cost-effective manner.• Ensure adequate training of people.
