Mr. Cousineau is a seasoned senior executive with nearly 30 years of leadership experience across the Government of Canada. He currently serves as Senior Assistant Deputy Minister of the International Platform at Global Affairs Canada, where he is responsible for leading global operational support for Canadian missions abroad. Over the course of his career, Mr. Cousineau has held several high-profile executive roles, including Assistant Deputy Minister of Corporate Services at Shared Services Canada, Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Financial Officer at FINTRAC, Director General of the Project Management Bureau at Passport Canada, and Chief Information Officer at Passport Canada, Elections Canada, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. He brings deep expertise in business transformation, digital strategy, financial management, and the oversight of large-scale, complex operations. His leadership has been instrumental in driving modernization, organizational integration, and cross-government collaboration.
