ABOUT STEPHANE CHENIER
I have been working in the real estate financing industry for 20+ years, starting as a real estate account manager in Ottawa and transferring to Toronto for five years as a senior account manager within the Desjardins National Real Estate Group. In September 2012, I established the Desjardins Ottawa and East Ontario Real Estate Financing Group, which grew from a portfolio of $100 million on January 1, 2013 to over $1.1 billion on December 31, 2019.On January 1, 2020, I was named Vice-President - Real Estate Financing for Desjardins Ontario Credit Union. In this position, I have significantly grown the team that now covers the entire province with a dedicated team for the GTA, Southwestern Ontario, the GOA as well as North Ontario. Our dedicated team of +/- 30 professionnals are responsible for originating and underwriting in excess of $2 Billion in new business annually while always striving to provide best in class customer service. We have established solid relationships with several prominent builders across the province of Ontario with our goal to provide strong and creative financing structures for our members.
