While still in law school, I decided to focus my career on helping victims of tragic personal injury and wrongful death. My firm represents individuals, families and victims of mass torts in catastrophic personal injury matters, including traumatic brain injuries, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation. The cases we handle involve accidents or injuries which occurred due to negligence and carelessness on the part of individuals, governmental bodies, and corporations of all sizes. I have concentrated my practice in: • Nursing Home Abuse. As our population ages, and more people are admitted to nursing homes, it is paramount that we protect our vulnerable elderly citizens. Nursing home abuse can include emotional abuse, financial abuse, physical abuse, and sexual abuse. I have handled cases involving neglect, malnutrition or dehydration, verbal abuse, bed sores, falls, violence, medication errors, physical or chemical restraints and more. • Obstetric Malpractice. Errors made during childbirth can result in injury to both the mother and the baby. These errors can be made by obstetricians, perinatologists, certified nurse midwives, family practitioners and labor and delivery nurses. I have worked on cases involving, birth defect, shoulder dystocia, birth injury, improper monitoring of the mother’s and/or baby’s condition and improper prescribing of medication. • Medical Malpractice. I handle cases for my clients regarding the following types of medical malpractice: anesthesia mistakes; breaches of doctor-patient confidentiality; drug interactions and overdoses; gastric bypass surgery malpractice; healthcare provider errors; HMO misconduct; lack of informed consent; misdiagnosis; misread x-rays, slides and ultrasounds; prescription errors; spinal cord injuries; substandard care; and surgical errors. Additionally, my firm assists with representing victims of car accidents, aviation accidents, police misconduct, workers’ compensation cases and more.
