As a policy analyst, I am responsible for co-ordinating and supporting analytical and capacity-building projects related to regional development and multi-level governance. This includes co-ordinating the development of the following OECD reports- Rebuilding Ukraine by Reinforcing Regional and Municipal Governance (2022)- Towards Balanced Regional Development in Croatia (2024)- Building More Resilient Cross-border Regions (2024)This work involves managing multi-disciplinary teams, developing questionnaires, organising and conducting fact-findings missions, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and drafting substantial inputs on topics such as- Socio-economic development trends at the subnational level- Multi-level governance arrangements supporting regional development- The design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, funding and financing, and co-ordination of regional development policy and strategies.I have also co-ordinated and delivered capacity-building workshops and training sessions, as well as organised international knowledge-sharing fora on topics such as: strategic planning for regional development, demographic change, policy monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement and subnational disaster-risk management.
