ABOUT STEPHAN BAKER

As Vice President of Finance and Capital Markets at Corner Lot, Stephan Baker is responsible for structuring capital stacks, managing investor relationships, and ensuring efficient and strategic capitalization from project inception through stabilization. He leads the firm’s capital markets strategy across a broad portfolio of multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use developments, with a focus on disciplined underwriting, market-aligned financing, and long-term value creation.Stephan brings over 15 years of experience in public accounting and real estate advisory, including senior roles at CohnReznick, KPMG, and most recently EY, where he advised clients in the firm’s real estate tax compliance and consulting practice. His background spans REIT structuring and conversions, private equity tax planning, debt restructuring, M&A structuring, and transaction due diligence. Earlier in his career, Stephan worked extensively with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), shaping a deep understanding of both the public and private sides of real estate finance.At Corner Lot, Stephan plays a central role in shaping the firm’s capital strategy and fostering trusted relationships with institutional capital partners, lenders, and stakeholders—positioning the company for continued growth across cycles.
