About Stephan Anstey
A jack of all trades, and passionate human in love with learning, helping others and being involved with his community, Stephan Anstey is a constant poet, occasional prose-ist, and as-yet-to-be-committed artist. He is a member of Lowell Poetry Network, The Arts League of Lowell and the Lowell Writer’s Group. With his beloved and most assuredly to-be-sainted wife of more than 30 years Ellen, he keeps a studio in his home in Lowell, Massachusetts. This Jack-of-all-Trades has worked in many different areas doing a wild and wide array things. From banker, to warehouse, to construction, to landscaping, to grocery store, to visual art, to poetry, to newspaper, to webmaster, to barista, to technical writer, to park ranger, to restaurant cook, to bookstore manager, to office support, he has wended his way through the workaday world helping everyone he can do what needs to be done as he could. After all that, he is now adept with computers, tools, presentation, troubleshooting, negotiating, supporting and being kind, positive and human in all the ways he interacts with life around him. Stephan is most inspired by his two children, Emily and Cameron, their spouses, Andrew and Dana, his grandsons Benjamin and Simon, as well as the rest of his extremely large family and circle of friends, He loves to tiptoe the edges of our common humanity, where all the definitions of things are too fuzzy to be sure. His poetry has been featured in many poetry blogs, several print journals including the Lowell Offering, and can be found daily on Anstey.org, Facebook, Twitter, or any of the other places people congregate online. Stephan has several books on Amazon, and a book of poems to be published maybe someday by Neopoeisis Press titled, “Without Reason Only/ Love”
