Growing up in the rust belt, having a keen interest in how things are made, and my deeply rooted love of nature and the environment, have shaped my professional passion for working within the manufacturing sector to reduce environmental impacts and promote robust environmental compliance programs. I bring over 20 years of experience leading such programs that have beneficially impacted 45+ facilities across multiple states, countries and jurisdictions, including 17+ years’ experience with highly complex Portland Harbor Superfund/Upland Source Control projects. I find incredible fulfillment being the strategic glue that adheres operations, environmental consultants, attorneys, and regulatory authorities to find practical solutions to environmental challenges. I also bring to my professional calling a discipline, work ethic and teamwork ability that I cultivated as a competitive and successful collegiate athlete, resulting in becoming a 2-Time All American and 3-time Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee.
