I am currently a software engineer working at Microsoft in London, where I am currently working for the Windows organisation on using AI to increase agility of shipping features.Work I have done during my time in this team consists of: creating an ASP.NET 2.0 Core Web service to provide Cortana functionality Cross-Devices, a C#/XAML UWP Xbox Application which had a focus on performance and quick boot times. Previous to this, I worked on Windows Search Box, the Start Menu and Paint 3D. I was working in C++/CX/XAML and also had some exposure to the Windows codebase. I learnt C++/CX whilst joining this project and was checking into the codebase within a matter of days.Before this my role entailed meeting with customers, and developing bespoke proof of concepts and applications for Microsoft HoloLens. I am working with the newest Microsoft technology and meeting customers from lots of different industries using Unity3D and C#.Previously working on a content distribution web service, using an Azure back-end. Working on the WebAPI and Azure integration and writing Web/Unit tests.
